Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of LocalLens, operated by Civvy LLC ("we," "us"). By purchasing an audit or subscription, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email audits@local-lens.io before ordering.

1. The service

LocalLens is a diagnostic report: we run patient-intent queries across AI search engines (currently ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity), score your practice's visibility, benchmark it against up to 3 local competitors, and provide a prioritized fix roadmap. The optional monitoring add-on re-runs the core audit monthly and flags changes.

2. No guaranteed outcomes — read this first

We do not guarantee search rankings, AI citations, recommendations by any AI engine, new patients, or revenue. AI engines change their answers constantly and are outside anyone's control. Your report is a diagnostic and educational tool. Sample reports and demos on our site are illustrative and based on fictional practices.

3. Orders, pricing, and payment

  • Snapshot Audit: $149 one-time. Monitoring: $29/month optional add-on.
  • Checkout is hosted by Payhip; payments are processed by PayPal and/or Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Prices are in USD. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax in your jurisdiction.

4. Monitoring subscription — renewal & cancellation

  • If you add monitoring, you authorize automatic recurring charges of $29/month starting one month after purchase, until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime — three ways: (a) your Payhip account → Subscriptions → Cancel; (b) if you paid with PayPal: PayPal Settings → Payments → Automatic payments → Civvy LLC → Cancel; (c) reply to any of our emails and we cancel for you within 1 business day.
  • Cancellation stops all future charges. Your final monitoring report covers the period already paid; no partial-month refunds except as stated in §6.
  • We send an annual reminder naming the product, the charge amount and frequency, and how to cancel. If we ever change the subscription price, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel before the new price applies.

5. Delivery

Snapshot Audit reports are delivered to your intake email within 24 hours of completed intake. If we miss that window, the audit is free — you may choose a full refund or the completed report at no charge. Delivery time starts when we receive your completed intake form, not the checkout timestamp.

6. Refunds

Beyond the 24-hour guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your first audit, email us within 14 days of delivery and we will make it right — a re-run with corrections or a full refund. Subscription renewals are refundable within 7 days of the charge if no monitoring report for that period has been delivered.

7. Acceptable use

  • One audit purchase covers one practice location (multi-location practices: one per location).
  • Never send us patient records or PHI. We audit public information only.
  • Don't resell, republish, or misrepresent our reports, and don't use them to disparage named competitors — they are internal business documents for your practice.

8. Intellectual property

Your report is licensed to you for internal business use, including sharing it with your staff, web developer, or marketing agency acting for your practice. The LocalLens methodology, scoring rubric, and templates remain ours.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." It is not legal, medical, or professional marketing advice. AI engine behavior, third-party platforms (Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity), and their results change without notice; figures quoted in our marketing cite their sources and dates.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Civvy LLC's total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost patients).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives here with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Subscription changes that affect price or renewal follow the notice rules in §4.
