LocalLens is operated by Civvy LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a Florida limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through local-lens.io and the LocalLens audit service, how we use it, who can access it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Intake form details — practice name, practice website, city/state, your delivery email, optional competitor names, optional service priorities, and any notes you choose to send. This is business information about a dental practice, plus a contact email.
• Purchase information — checkout is hosted by Payhip and processed by PayPal and/or Stripe. We receive your name, email, and order details from Payhip. We never see, collect, or store card numbers or bank details.
• Correspondence — if you email us, we keep that conversation so we can respond and support you.

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any form of visitor tracking on this website. No account is created on our site.

Zero patient data

LocalLens audits public information only — your practice's public website and public responses from AI search engines. Do not send us patient records, appointment data, or any protected health information (PHI). We are not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, and we delete any unsolicited PHI immediately.

How we use information

• To run and deliver your AI visibility audit and related monitoring;
• To communicate with you about your order, report, and support requests;
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
• To protect against fraud and abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information for third-party marketing. Ever.

Third parties who process data for us

• Payhip — hosts checkout and order records;
• PayPal / Stripe — process payments under their own PCI DSS Level 1 certified systems;
• Form endpoint provider — securely transmits and stores intake submissions until we retrieve them;
• Hosting & CDN providers — serve the site files and fonts (standard server logs may record IP addresses for security and reliability).

Retention & deletion

We keep audit inputs and reports while your relationship with us is active, and up to 24 months afterward for support and record-keeping. Email audits@local-lens.io with the subject "Delete my data" and we will delete your intake details, reports, and correspondence from our systems and our form provider within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (e.g., tax records of the transaction itself).

Your choices (including California residents)

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing us — no account portal needed, we handle it manually and confirm when done. Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), California residents are entitled to a clear description of our practices, which this page provides.

Do Not Track

Our site does not track visitors, so browser "Do Not Track" signals have no effect — there is nothing to turn off.

Children

The service is for dental practice owners and staff. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be flagged on the page for 30 days.
